Description

National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1500: Standard on Fire Department Occupational Safety and Health Program specifies the minimum safety requirements for the fire departments that provide rescue, fire suppression, emergency medical services, hazardous materials mitigation, special operations, and other emergency services. This lesson will allow students to explore the NFPA 1500: Standard on Fire Department Occupational Safety and Health Program through lecture and discussion, followed by a role-playing group project.
